Emmett L. Manfull was a high school teacher of mine when I was not only a student but also the janitor of the Augusta Schools. He was a teacher that allowed me to take many extra subjects which enabled me to finish the three year high school course in two years.
Emmett was very nice, and I remember his walking to school from down around Specht in bitter winter weather which resulted in his ears being frozen. So for several days he taught school with ears about twice the size of normal ears.
He was a teacher and I remember him with pleasure. Glad that I had him as a teacher.
